The Rotary Club of Monroe, in collaboration with the City of Monroe, presents The Monroe Holiday Tree Walk, a festive community event that shares the lights and sounds of the Christmas Season. This event features approximately 200 decorated and illuminated Christmas Trees transforming the River Raisin Veterans Park area, located at 1599 North Custer Road in Monroe, Michigan, into a beautifully illuminated winter wonderland expanding and complementing the current Holiday Lights activities in our community. This annual event invites local businesses, organizations, and families to sponsor and decorate holiday trees, each showcasing unique themes and messages of seasonal joy.
The event will officially begin with a FREE Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony on November 22, 2025, at Veterans Park, marking the start of the seasonal display. From November 22 through January 3, 2026, the trees will be illuminated nightly from dusk to dawn, creating a stunning seasonal attraction for our community and its visitors.
Here are the event dates:
- Opening Ceremony: Saturday, November 22, 2025, at 6:00 PM
- Lighting Display: Nightly from November 22, 2025 – January 3, 2026
- Illumination Hours: Dusk to Dawn. Park open until 10:00 PM nightly with extended times for special Saturday events.

How Do I Sponsor a Holiday Tree in Veterans Park?
Monroe Rotary wants to get as many families, businesses, and organizations involved in celebrating the holidays with us. You can sponsor a family/memorial tree from Thanksgiving to New Year’s Day 2026 with your family’s name/organization name & dedication on a yard sign placed in front of each lighted holiday tree. All you have to do is come and decorate it with holiday cheer. You can sign up and pay for your tree HERE!
A Special Thank-you!
While this event will be unique to Monroe, Michigan, we would like to offer a special thanks to the City of Adrian for sharing their experience and knowledge of their similar annual event at Comstock Park.
